Maybe you've been thinking about starting a new hobby, or you feel you need some encouragement at the beginning of the season, even if you're more experienced.
Or maybe you want to learn new skills, meet new people and spend a weekend with a like-minded group, enjoying the fun and excitement of the downhill.
If you recognise yourself, this is the camp for you!
Park Day Elina, an outdoor enthusiast, physics and solution-focused coach, mountain bike instructor and downhill enthusiast, said that getting back on the hill at the start of the season is easier when you have support and technique instruction right out of the gate. The season starts strong and with enthusiasm.
As Elina herself got such a start from Laura of Laurellines a few years ago, who better to start building this great opportunity for others! Laura has a wealth of experience in both driving and piloting. Laura's calm, gentle and analytical way of looking at the movement and seeing successes and her ability to give clear tips is unique!
Nuuksio Bike Park was chosen as a training location because of the always supportive atmosphere and the top award-winning Bike Patrols, who will also be coaching the downhill section.
At the camp, you will first get to train your body and mind under Elina's guidance. The days will start at the Solvalla Sports School, where:
Strength training to give you strength and control on the hill
mobility exercises to help your body adapt to the bends.
talk about how the space between your ears is important, how you can dare perhaps more and find success more easily
Afternoons are dedicated to practicing technique and riding. Laura Janhunen and the Nuuksio Bike Park staff are responsible for the technique training, with Elina acting as assistant instructor.
What's included in the price?
